Creamy Vegan Peppermint Hot Chocolate

This vegan peppermint hot chocolate is rich, creamy, and delicious. If you don’t have a peppermint infused chocolate bar, you can substitute any good quality dark chocolate bar and a drop of peppermint essential oil. If you prefer a lower calorie hot chocolate, use almond milk or coconut milk drink (not canned) instead.

Fresh grated chocolate and a hint of mint make this creamy vegan hot chocolate extra special!

Creamy Vegan Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Prep Time: 2 minutes Cook Time: 2 minutes
Yield:2 servings

Ingredients

1 can coconut milk

2 oz. Young Living Chocolessence Peppermint Almond Bar, chopped with almonds removed

1 1/2 tablespoons agave nectar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

dash salt

 

Instructions

  1. Combine coconut milk and chopped chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat. Whisk often to melt chocolate.
  2. Once melted, stir in vanilla, agave, and salt. If you are using essential oil, add it now as well.
  3. Serve hot with chocolate shavings.
  4. If you have any left over, store your vegan peppermint hot chocolate in the refrigerator.
